Hmm... Depends on when it starts, I'm planning on arriving at Williamsburg that same day. Either way, I'm willing to put some money up for food for the rest of you PC'ers :)

Assuming the cookout doesn't start too late, my mom and I will be attending the cookout.

Jim,

This is a little late, but you might as well sign me up for attending. (That's IF y'all will allow a Camry Hybrid to attend.) B)

I don't have an EBH to be installed, yet. :(

I would like to come. Have you decided on a time and place? (If you did, I can't find the posting...) Thanks! :)

All,

It is great to see so much interest. Even with those with other hybrids. (John, you are, of course, welcome to attend.)

For those who are making plans to attend, here is the information you've been waiting for:

Time: 1:00pm
Place: Haley Toyota

We'll start at Haley, and later on move over to the park to do some driving clinics.

We'll post more details when we get them locked down.

Color: Beautiful Silver :)

Out of curiosity, how many are bringing their significant others? My wife wants to come, but I am only going to bring her if other females will be there. I don't think she'd have much fun installing EBHs all day ;)

Why not, just tell her to where some old clothes and she can help.

More details:

At Haley Toyota
1:00 - Meet and greet
1:30 - Wayne's battery presentation
2:30 (or later if Wayne needs more time) - Open discussion on Prius topics of interest

At Ironbridge Park
4:00 (approximate) - Driving clinics
5:00 (approximate) - Cookout

The EBH installs can be at either location, depending on time, how many will be done, and whether the cars getting the installs also are participating in the clinics (remembering the need for cool-down prior to the install). The shelter is ours from 3 to 8, so we have a lot of flexibility.

Michael has linked Haley; here is the link for the park. Scroll down to "Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge" for details, directions, and a link for a PDF file with the park layout. Here is a Google Maps link.

Right now we have about ten people for the cookout, so I booked the shelter ($45). The more the better, of course, not only from the standpoint of fellowship, but also to reduce the shelter cost per person.

To promote local interest, I placed ads on Craigslist and EventSetter.com. FYI, these ads do not mention the EBH installs (no need to promote that, given the recent scarcity of the heaters) nor the cookout (a "members only" affair).

Tek, I doubt my SO will come, except possibly for the cookout.

Since my wife is the Prius driver, I'm hoping that she will come. I've told her that it is her responsibility as a Prius driver to attend.

Wayne is coming all this way to install an EBH for her, the least she could do is attend...

I know, I'm walking a dangerous line...

Hey, I'm a female! :D Tell her to come on!! I can't stay in the sun for long (I am extremely fair), so unless the EBH installs are in the shade, I'll only watch one of them myself.

Good :)

I'll relay the message to her.

On a related note, JimboK and Skwyre, maybe we should get a list of all the people who wish to have an EBH installed. I think that will help plan the event a bit better, especially for Wayne.

I have my EBH in hand now, so you can include me on the list.

I think I posted earlier, but I'll be one of the EBH installs, too. I'm pretty sure Wayne has me on his list.

Good idea! So this is what I have based on posts in this thread:

Tekn0wledg

Please add any additions/corrections. I'll post once again in the "Installations east of the Mississippi" thread, and ask folks there to make sure they check in here.

Galaxee, we really would love to see you and DH, if you can swing the trip.
