    Hello,

I have a 2007 Prius with 2 Fob Keys. The 07 is junk and I am using it to cannibalize parts to put into my 2008.
The 07 has two FOBs but the 08 I bought only has one,

Can I, and if so, how can I reprogram one of the 07 fobs to work with the 08?

    Thanks.

You can use the 07 fobs but you’ll need to reseed your 08 car in order to do it. Meaning erase the computer of all the keys, then add the used 07 keys on. A dealer or locksmith with the right software can do it. My guess around $250

You’d be surprised how little locksmiths charge to do the work. Shop around.
Also ACE Hardware will sell you a new fob and provision it for less than $200. Do that and sell yours on eBay to someone else.
