Well here in the USA we just went on Daylight Savings Time. Went in to change the clock, and used the manual instructions. That changes the system clock. It's very easy to switch on DST. However, for some unknown reason the dashboard clock is not synchronized. That did not change. There appears to be nothing in the manual about changing that clock. I've seen comments in various forums about this, but none of the suggested answers worked for me. Does anyone know how to change the dashboard clock in the 2017 Prius Prime Advanced?

Page 185 is not about the dashboard clock. Those are the instructions I followed to change my clock. It changes the system clock, which is not something normally visible to the user. The dashboard clock is not related at all to the system clock (I'm not sure why - it would help to have just one setting). Changing the system clock has no effect whatsoever on the dashboard clock.

For a vehicle with so much tech, I'm surprised that it doesn't auto update the clock.

As stated before, page 185 of the owner’s manual is your friend in order to adjust the (dash) clock. For the sake of completeness in order to handle Daylight Saving Time, one might also refer to page 68 of the Navigation System Owner’s Manual in order to change the system time. I have no idea why there are two clocks though...

It's very complicated because there is more than one screen which fits the picture designation. It just uses "the" without explaining which one of those screens it is referencing. I finally figured it out. They need a more user-friendly manual.

I don't know... maybe it's cause I've owned my Gen 3 for 9 years so it's second nature to me (that even the Prime/Gen 4 works the same way).

I change the dashboard clock (although with the VFD in the Gen 3, I use the physical H, M and :00 buttons) and then dive into my navigation

SETUP --> CLOCK --> Daylight Saving Time --> ON.

So.. I do them both, twice a year for the last 9 years.

It would be nice if the navigation one auto-updated (esp. since the Gen 4/Primes are connected to the cloud) so one would only have to change the dashboard one.

So does the dealer’s VCR and microwave clock flash “12:00”?

I can't seem to find the correct screen, either. How did you get to the one that actually controls the dashboard clock?

    Thanks!

Steering wheel right hand button for the MFD. Scroll up/down until you get to clock.

The reference to the Navigation System Owner's Manual is incorrect. That page is the contents for the Audio portion. Further, I did a search on the PDF, and "clock" is not in the Manual at all. All clock references (including one specific to the system clock) are in the owner's manual and all refer to page 185. The interesting thing is that the symbol referenced there is on 2 entirely different screens in the Prius operation. Apparently you need to go to these entirely different screens to change each clock.

I need help on this, too. I successfully changed the dashboard clock, using the multi-information display, but the navigation system didn't change. Its ETA estimates are still on DST. For the life of me, I can't find how to adjust that.

That's a very easy setting to get to, but I found it wouldn't work. It will not change from ON. When you click on it to change it, it just goes back to the previous screen and doesn't change the setting.
