Kendrick from your picture of old and new horn it appears that what you believe to be the old horn is actually the pedestrian "get out of the way!" speaker. no wonder you were confused. the actual old horn is mounted next to where you unmounted the pedestrian speaker.

Thanks to everyone who helped me with the horns especially krmcg for his personal help. I got them installed today and sound much better. I added a little white lithium grease on the exposed metal spade connector in an effort to limit rusting. Was able to use the factory brackets and just plug them in to existing cables. Very nice. Hello, I have a 2 wk new Prius (trim II). I want to replace the horns also, I like you comment for the 2016 Prius with the FIAMM 74100 El Grande horns! No modifications. Sounds great. Would that void any warranty? copy me the steps please

I have replaced my peep peep horns with PIAA Automotive Superior Bass Horn 330/400Hz . Same as the Toyota factory upgrade, but they use the higher note. A bit lower note than the Sports Horns but straightish plug and play. Almost the same current draw as the originals but much louder. I would have fitted the FIAMM AM80's same as US Freeway blaster but the PIAA use 3.6 amps less current, so I played safe as I didn't have a wiring diagram and was not sure if there was a relay fitted. I note since that one is fitted so could have upped the game but these are pretty good. I used the extensions off the old horns with a bit of a forward bend.
