Wife's 2012 pip stopped charging, Toyota took out the o ring from the wand and it still isnt charging. Toyota said the problem may be where the wand plugs in to. What is covered under warranty? Any other fixes? Made sure it wasnt the timer or the outlet its plugged in to.

Just on a hunch, consider opening the wand and cleaning the electrical contacts at the trigger switch. Pushing the trigger counts as a connector operation.

Torx T-8 will fit. If the trigger switch is a sealed unit you might try to get some spray contact cleaner into it, and you can always use a test meter to see what the switch does when you operate it. (Unplug from the wall first.)

Is there someone or someplace nearby where you could try a different cable? That would tell you if it's the car or the cable with the problem. "Divide and conquer."

As Jerry suggested, try a public charging station first. I had an issue and it appears that it is not covered by the Hybrid warranty but the base 3Yr/36K one.
