This lunch time we went to Century City Shopping Center here in LA and I grabbed a partial charge while we had lunch in the food court the did some shopping.

There are 2 parking spaces with 4 110V outlets. When we got there one space was Iced but the other was free so I started to charge. When we got back to the car the MBZ was gone and a Volt was charging. It wasn't using the standard EVSE it looked like an open access charger, basically just a circuit board with cables. When I went to unplug I touched the other plug and it was quite hot. The Prius plug was totally cool.

As we were leaving the mall we pulled out behind a gray PIP.

  3. The other plug quite hot, that doesn't sound too good. Now we all are going to have to inspect all the other plug-ins to make sure they are safe! ???

Today Century city had one of the EV parking spaces coned off. When we came to leave I noticed someone had Iced the space. The cone was behind the car so they must have moved it to park. Thats the first time I've seen someone do that. Usually putting a cone in the space stops ICEIng

Not only did they take a charging spot the moved the cone blocking the spot then parked and put the cone behind their car. The car had AZ plates so I guess they though they were ok

There are 2 charging locations. One used to have old style chargers, and now there are just wall plugs there. The other location has 6 stations, with 4 reserved for Coda. There is a Coda store upstairs who you have to check in with. I don't think its free, but I havent actually used these chargers. Its too close to home.

I was at the 6 spots. Codas were parked there. Charging stations are no more. Go see for yourself. :(

I can vouch for that. At least you don't have to deal with them every day like I do.

The old SPI and AVCON chargers have been removed from the location near escalator 1 but were replaced with 4 110V outlets. I've charged there a few times. The J1772 chargers near escalator 3 have 2 available for charging. You have to go to the Coda store and they charge $1 per hour for none coda cars. There is a blue Leaf that blocks one of the space on a regular basis

Yes I was there this afternoon but I didn't check the J-plugs. Had the two EV parking spaces by escalator 1 to myself. The parking was very busy but still no ICEing

Where's escalator 1? What section color? And how do you know what the escalator numbers are?
When you say EV parking spaces, are you talking about spaces that have plugs near them or are they just regular spaces, no plugs for only EVs? I've never seen those at WCC.

Yeah, unless they put them back in, the charging stations for Coda parking were taken out.

The 120v outlets are on the top level (century park west entrance), in the orange section near the elevator.

Coda removed the chargers, but you can still park there. Top level, by the Gelsons parking, just to the west. I forget the colors for the chargers, but I go to the blue section to find Gelsons. I still get lost in there every single time I go.

Coda has nothing to do with the old legacy chargers that
were in the orange section. They were removed months ago and were replaced with 4 X 110V outlets.
The Coda chargers are in the Green section directly under the Coda experience center.

When where they removed? They were there last time I went by there about a week ago.
