Cheap fix for stolen cat 46 state compliant.

I recently bought a 2008 from which the cat was stolen, where I am I can get by with a straight pipe, but wanted it to be compliant, I found a 46 state compliant replacement for under 300.

This is a 3 piece clamp together solution, which I have just installed in the car, clamped together, and will remove tomorrow and weld, cause I am not going to have a clamped together system lol.
When clamped, it does seem that it would hold, the instructions refer to some mystery "sealant" in a caulk type gun, neither of which was included.

The connect between the mid pipe and the front pipe was way too loose to clamp out of the box, I went to the auto parts and got a reducer for both pieces to slide into and that provided a tight firm connection, and one more clamp would be needed except I am welding it.

There is one on ebay that comes with more hardware, bolts and springs, both come with the gaskets, the ebay is 229 free shipping and claims to be 49 state compliant.
