Same here. My vehicle front Valance protector was severely ruptured by the previous owner(may be their parking stopper bump is bit high). I am thinking of replacing it. Not sure how much does it cost to fix it (labor cost)?

The part seems cheap enough and if you're willing to help, we can sort it out at the next Bay Area meet up ;).

One option with very cheap labor (y).

Might be time to sweeten the pot for potential available options ;)

Guessing I could try a little bribery and see it that finds available space between now and the 11th

Do you think someone would play host for a jug of Synth and or a few packages of the best (slightly spicy) sausages I've eaten this year? (yes, I'm hording sausages now :sneaky: )

On second thought, could just keep the sausages and offer up two (2) jugs of Synth instead :p

I don't mind hosting, it just maybe far for our South Bay travelers ;).

If a midrange geographical option wouldn't mind hosting, I bet we get a great turn out (y).

I find one option as Fremont Elizabeth park(lot of space, open for public), even we can have some food and drinks arranged there.

Alternatively is there any such option in or around Pleasanton Or Palo Alto area(to make it reachable for other far east folks as well)

You can take that front piece off without even raising the car. I'm not sure if a 2012 PIP would be identical, but ours was moderately chewed up from concrete wheel stops; I just removed it and repaired, mostly from the backside, using some fiberglass mesh and two-part epoxy.

It's a poor design, btw: it's a low/fragile piece, that slides up and over concrete wheel stops relatively easily, then catches royally, as you back off.
