Any thoughts on why I would be getting a "check antenna" message on my audio display when listening to satellite radio? It's not persistent, but I do notice it on occasion when glancing down at the display.

There does not appear to be any reception issues.

Have you paid attention to your environment when you get those messages.

With my Portable Garmin GPS, which also uses satellites, if I drive through a forest or area with a lot of cover, the device will lose communication with the satellites. It will then sometimes annoyingly start giving me repeated warning messages, or directions until I'm in the clear and it reestablishes communication.

I would be curious if there is any connection to the happening and the environment you happen to be driving through.

If memory serves, it's been overcast when it happens, but I don't recall seeing the message prior to this past Wednesday.

Also, I was in a open area so there was nothing physical (trees, buildings) interfering with the signal.

    Hmm....
Maybe you need to check your antennae?

I don't have satellite radio so at this point I have to give up. I can't really tell you whether that is normal operation or not.

I did a cursory check of the roof antenna to ensure that it's on and tight, but given that it's still under warranty, I'll likely defer to the Toyota service department. Thanks for the response.
