The free section only has the owner's manuals and other stuff that would generally be in the glove box when you bought the car new. The repair manuals, wiring diagrams, TSBs, technical guides, training course materials, and all other technical literature can be found in the section you sign in for.

Every time I click subscribe, it just takes me to a blank screen on the website with no where to create a log in. Is there a trick? I have been trying all morning. I did check my 12v battery again this morning and I was getting 12.5v resting and then I tested it with the headlights on and it tested at 11.9v in the off position... I also noticed that when I tried to work with the scan tool for 3-4mins with the car in the on position, the gas engine never shut off once. It sounds like it tried to but just kept running. Could this be an indication that the 12v battery is toast because it keeps trying to charge the battery, even though the voltage is marginal?

I doubt it. The 12 V battery gets charged constantly whenever the car is in READY; there is no need for the engine to run to charge it, and as far as I know, the HV control's strategy for when to run or stop the engine doesn't have anything to do with the 12 volt. It will run the engine when the traction battery needs charging, or the coolant needs warming, etc.

Anyway, it's clear what needs to be done for the C1336 and C1345. The P0607 and C1302 may need a little more digging, but they don't have to be guessed at; they're surely described in the manual.

About the techinfo subscribe button, I just tried it myself and I get a page from Firefox complaining about a "Content Security Policy". That didn't happen before. Now I'm reading Firefox stuff about "CSP" to get some kind of clue what's being blocked and why, since there is no useful information in the message from Firefox. Inconvenient....

Edit: their registration service seems to be outsourced to SnapOn. The page techinfo.snapon.com/TIS/Register.aspx is sending this response header:

    Code:
    Content-Security-Policy: frame-src https://www.chasepaymentechhostedpay.com https://www.chasepaymentechhostedpay-var.com; frame-ancestors https://www.chasepaymentechhostedpay.com https://www.chasepaymentechhostedpay-var.com https://techinfo.snapon.com https://techinfotest.snapon.com https://techinfobeta.snapon.com https://techinford.snapon.com
I wonder if they added that recently, and forgot to allow the actual Toyota site it gets loaded from....

Got it. Since I can't access the techinfo so I may have to just drive1hr down the mountain slowly to the dealer tomorrow to have them look at things. Just not sure why I got a check engine light and nothing else and then after charging the battery and reinstalling, I got no check engine light but now every ABS light is on. Its all very confusing to me!

Update: it seems I can get to the registration page, if I block JavaScript from toyota.com.

I discovered that by accident, because I restarted my browser, tried the Subscribe button again, and hey presto! up popped the subscribe page.

Well, as it turns out, I use the NoScript extension, and it defaults to blocking scripts from most sites unless I say to allow them, and when I restarted my browser, I forget to tell it to allow toyota.com again. And that seems to make it hand off successfully to the snapon registration page. Sure enough, if I try the same thing, but with scripts from toyota.com allowed again, it goes back to refusing to show the registration page. Must be something wack they are doing in their JavaScript.

I think you do need to allow snapon.com, for the magic in the subscription form to work (like, when you've chosen your subscription length and quantity, the subscription end date magically appears in the form). And once you are signed in, you definitely need JavaScript enabled for the interactive wiring diagrams to work. But temporarily blocking it might be enough to get to the subscription page that otherwise doesn't come up.

I checked the voltage on the old battery this morning and it was at 12.48v. I put a new battery in it also and waited 20min to install in hopes something would reset and all the same codes and lights are still on. I drove it about 5 miles up the road and it drove like normal except the brakes feeling a bit squishy at time (assuming from abs and traction control being off). No check engine light (which was the original light that came on). Do you think its safe to drive the 35 miles slowly (under 45-50mph) to the dealer?? I just don't want to cause any damage while the ABS Traction control is off. I still could not get the techinfo.toyota.com to work with all the Javscript changes so I think its time to stop beating my head against the wall and get some help.

Problem has been solved!!! On our way to the stealership, I took it to our local mechanic who is extremely helpful but doesn't do much with hybirds and he plugged in and was able to clear the codes and recalibrate the for the ABS codes that threw and now its fixed! He said it was most likely a low voltage issue.. @bisco wins again!! 12v battery down for the count.
