Got a check engine light on a 2016 Prius two eco took it in to the dealership and got a code for the o2 sensor. Warranty is covering it but this particular dealership said they haven’t had a Prius with this issue.

not surprising they haven't seen it yet. usually for higher mile cars. maybe defective or installed incorrectly.

Most likely defective than installed incorrectly. If it was installed incorrectly, it would've been throwing codes the entire time when you were driving and not just after having gone 25k miles. I just hope they made those things easier to swap out than from previous generations because its a basic plug and play replacement item when its time to do so.
