My check engine light came on suddenly the other day. I just had a 145,000 mi service about a month ago. I plugged in my OBD scanner and accidentally pressed the reset code button on the Dr. Prius app before I was able to get the codes. I ran the emissions test using the Car Scanner ELM app and it says the O2 sensor failed the test. Does this mean the O2 sensor needs replacing? Should I run another 50-100 miles to see if the check engine light comes on again?

if nothing feels or sounds wrong when running/driving, I wouldn’t replace the oxygen sensor until you get the original codes that were cleared. I’d recommend driving some more until the light comes back
