    Hello All,

My 2004 Prius currently with 212,200 miles has the check engine light on. Brought it to Advanced Auto Parts where they will diagnose for it for free and the crankshaft sensor was the problem. Has anyone encountered this and did you change the sensor yourself? Curious to know and what issues if any did you experienced. Any comments would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for reading my thread.

It would help if you would provide the exact DTC that Advance Auto found.

Sometimes just cleaning the crankshaft sensor will clear the problem.
