Was the check engine light the only warning light lit on the dash?
What was the code provided by the reader?

    Have the codes read again.
There may be a different one now.
Or the new MAF sensor might be bad.

Did the mechanic replace the MAF sensor with an OEM or aftermarket? If he cleared the code and it came back it's probably bad. I always clean my MAF sensor and throttle body at the same time...every 25,000 miles.

Yes only the check engine light is there. Mechanic didn't give me the code and i didn't ask

I went to auto zone and mechanic both diagnose maf sensor. Auto zone told me i have to drive 60 to 100 miles after that light will off.

Mechanic did not go after market he replace new.

Yes, i checked it is tight

Unfortunately, without an actual code, and not being there to test the car, this is a bit like calling a doctor on the phone, telling him your body hurts, telling him another doctor said you have a toe infection, and then asking him for an accurate diagnosis.

Any chance your receipt has additional information?

When people say "aftermarket" for a car part they refer to anything not from the dealer (it could be a new or rebuilt part).

If you purchased something for your Prius and it came from Toyota in Toyota packaging- that would be an OE or Original Equipment part.

For some parts (such as engine control sensors like a MAF) many people suggest only using Toyota parts -or parts made by Denso (the company that makes stuff like that for Toyota).

That said, if your car had a code in the engine computer that indicated some kind of fault with the MAF sensor circuit (perhaps a P0101), you might want to have it diagnosed before replacing things. While a bad MAF could be the problem, there are other things that can cause that code (if that's what it is). Bad wiring, a connector, dirty throttle body, engine computer, etc.
