It was driven fine and stopped for couple hours. When I started it again, it showed a message "Check Hybrid System Stop The Vehicle In A Safe Place", I followed YouTube trick, to unplug white cable in fuse box for 10 minutes, plugged it back in and the message no longer showed up.

I drove home with 58 mpg, the hybrid battery discharged and charged seems to be fine, just quicker than normal (if I remembered right). This is the first time I got the message with Check Engine light on.

Any suggestion? what I can do and should I continue to use my car? I need it to commute daily! thanks.

It could mean different things, depending on OBD2 fault code.. I've seen it from weak 12V battery, Water pump, inverter and hybrid traction battery.... But since the message hasn't shown back up since unplugged; I would start by checking 12V battery and local parts store should also perform the test as a free service..

You'll need a code reader, or go to local parts store have them read the OBD2 trouble code for you and usually a free service...

    Good luck!

is it the 2012 or a prime? if 2012, report your post and ask to be moved to the appropriate forum for more help.

What brake module was changed I'm just curious you mean the accumulator pump thingy or the actuator or the computer. I get that same nonsense if anything else is weird in the car like a doors cracked or not completely closed or if I open the door while it's in drive but I'm stopped with my foot on the brake I think it'll give me that black and white text on the screen please stop on a level surface check and put it in neutral whatever the hell I just closed the door and drive off that's the first thing I check because I'm in and out of my car a lot and my car door closes by barely touching it I touch it so gently that it doesn't close all the way and it's not completely latched I get that display

ABS Brake pump module , Connects to brake pedal and has brake lines going to booster along with module all in one.

I have 3 different code readers and all will power up but not link to computer for codes. Checked all fuses and had it towed to a shop with a guy the used to work at Toyota dealer and agreed that it should be ECM , I changed it and still Check hybrid system message on Screen , Dealer is 220km tow to get it there. Anything else I could try . (New 12v battery and ECM so far)
