    Except that it's so easy to go into D3 instead of D4, increasing fuel consumption.

    So I just heard about a recall today that sounds pretty close to what happened to me. It won't let me post a link but you can google it. I did get it fixed myself thanks to you all but still had to pay $100 for them to diagnose the issue and I bought a used part for $30. Now that there is an official recall, any idea if there is a chance I will get refunded the cost of the part and diagnostic?

    You'll need to submit a claim for reimbursement and receipts for the diagnostic and parts to Toyota.
