    "off the top of (one's) head"
    Meaning:- from memory, or without much or careful consideration.

    Reasonable request - if a filter was being fabricated, the measurements might be "on the top of one's head". Don't have access to mine right now- but found measurements online - 8.5 " by 8.5 inches (within 1/4 inch).
    On a related note: real tragedy seeing U.S. press and media. Somehow I don't think founders of the country enshrined freedom of the press for the purpose of nurturing bought & sold propaganda machines. Seems any time I go back to the original source of some quoted material, it is taken out of context.....items cherry-picked to skew meaning, etc.
    I think we need 100% public funded elections. Make it a high crime to give any politician ONE CENT.
