    I think I'll be there, but no promises this early.

    I'd love to see the backup camera on someone's 06. Hopefully there will be at least one there.

    Are we planning on lunch as part of this meeting since its at noon?

    Would be nice... Decide there, maybe get pizza, chinese, something else delivered? Or plan on going somewhere in advance? How's everyone feel?

    Tony, how's the EV button going? How many times have you caressed it lately? :p

    As for where: Check the attachment. It is an extreme close-up of the Siemens campus. For directions, use the map Matt posted above; you can zoom in and out and get directions from your house.

    We will meet in the parking lot between the 950 and 920 buildings. I will try to get there early and have Priapus visible from the street. It's going to be Saturday, so if you overshout the driveway, just pull a U-turn and try again.

    Lunch? There's a Panera less than a mile away. Plenty of booths and moveable tables. Also plenty of menu options.

    Hi-

    Thanks for the invite. To confirm, 950 Deerfield Pkway, Bufallo Grove? Time? Date? Also, I have my Prius on order, but will not have it by this wknd. Will that be a problem if I attend (if I am able to make it)? I would be pulling up with a gas-guzzling '97 Toyota Camry XLE V6 (which is why I am buying a Prius).

    It is January 28th at noon that we are meeting. It's okay if you don't have a Prius, we invite anyone, but we do make fun of those that don't have one yet. I keed, I keed.

    Tony specifically said we are meeting in the parking lot between the 950 and 920 buildings. Just look for a bunch of Priuses Prii Prions, etc, when you get near the address.

    I'm new to this Chicago group but have been on the board since June 2004 (we purchased our Prius in July 2005). I hope to attend but there could be a conflict. I'm coming from Frankfort Illinois which is close to Joliet; hopefully, you'll have some southside meetings in the future too! <_<

    Shhhhh... Tony gets the shakes if you propose he has to drive all the way down here...

    But if you check out the other thread on our Chicago board, there will probably be some of us showing at the Joliet event. That one is in May. We'll probably have another gathering around March-ish. Feel free to stay around and put your input in on where to go. We are always looking for new things to do, try, and for some good photo opportunities.

    Sorry, I can't seem to find the "other" thread talking about a Joliet meetup. Are you referring to the Route 66 Speedway event for AFV (Alternate Fueled Vehicles) on May 13th?

    Yes, that's what I meant. While it's not an official meetup yet, it probably will be, as I'm sure some of us will go. And it's too far ahead for us to plan our lives around, I believe.

    My EV switch arrived in mid-December. I did all the wiring prep to make the demonstration faster for everyone there. It's been sitting in my cargo hold for almost three weeks.

    You think the wait is killing you? I've got six words for you:

    T minus six days and counting!
