Since I'm not going to go out and try to find that episode, would you abstract their conclusions for us?

Well, as one poster already pointed out, maybe that should be "American" women? My own highly unscientific inquiries into this agree with Darwood's statement.
Plus, circumcised porn stars receive higher pay.

Considering that the majority of males in the world are uncut, I highly doubt that you would find most females claiming that the uncut penis is "icky". It's just normal. Females from other countries dating American men may also find circumcised men "icky".

Let's face it, the United States is in the minority on the global scale and also within industrialized countries when it comes to circumcision.

Your statement is an analogus to some minority of men in a few West African countries who find uncircumcised females "icky".

talking a routine shower and using a very "sophisticated" and scientifically developed formula known as soap is way more modern in terms of scientific advance than circumcision.

If I may ask, what kind of complex did your brother have? Was it with dating females or was it just being different than other males in the US?

Soap and basic hygiene have a well-known liberal bias. :p

there are other measures that can be taken to prevent HIV spread before we resort to genital mutilation which borders more on medically institutionalized cultural ritual than science.

Ahhh, yes; another way to promote a Western European/Christian ritual which (at least according to this article) has dubious medical benefits supported by the assertion of a small group of researchers that "...regions with high HIV rates generally have low rates of circumcision..."

Based upon findings like these, are we really to believe that the two share a 'cause and effect' relationship?

    The latter.

(The former doesn't really matter, as he's gay. And before anyone starts--no connection that I know of between lack of circumcision and homosexuality.)

Circumcision a Christian ritual??? Last I checked, it was a Jewish ritual. Something my ancestors did to all their men so as to be able to determine with certainty whether a man was a Jew or not, as nobody else would ever dream of subjecting themselves to it.

I don't think circumcision is a Western European ritual either

Here is the full episode of Penn & Teller Bullshit! S3E1. You will have to be a member of youtube to watch. The audio is a little off but its still watchable. Its a full 30min episode. Watch it while its still on youtube!

I dont see how getting circumcised will "prevent' anything. Aids is an STD. If you have it and you you give a woman some of you man juices she is going to get aids. I dont care if they cut the penis down to a little nub you will still transmit aids. Hell condoms cant even prevent aids. The aids virus is small enough to fit through the small openings of the latex rubber.

YouTube doesn't like any of the usernames I normally use for this kind of stuff, and frankly, it's not worth it to me. Plus, I am not interested in spending half an hour watching a tv program I don't particularly like. When P&T did a program claiming that second-hand tobacco smoke does not hurt anybody, they lost their credibility with me.

How about an abstract? Are they fur it or agin it? (Not that their opinion counts for anything, IMO.)

I don't have a preference visually, as long as it's clean. For an uncircumcised male, this can prove difficult, especially in warmer temperatures. I think it would help if the man dabbed instead of just shook. The urine drips between the foreskin and the penis causes a lot of trouble with sanitation and odor.

Penn has said that after that episode aired that he received new data that he believes proved him wrong on the second hand smoke issue. Youtube link

On their episode on circumcision they believe its wrong. You might want to create an account with youtube they says your over 18 or 21 or something. Dont know how you tube works that stuff out.

I agree with Penn and Teller on all their episodes except for the death penalty. If I remember correctly they were against it and I'm for it. But dissagreeing with one of their episodes didn't stop be from watching all of them. Penn and Teller ( well mostly Penn ) make very good points in all their episodes.
