I agree with everyone here! The c gets better mileage than the CR test indicates. The CR test is biased towards the CR test. Other vehicles don't get their EPA numbers either with this test. The test is internally consistent.

CR prides itself on having NO advertisers, does it not? So that part is wrong. (I know that's not your quote, Sage.)

As a card-carrying curmudgeon, I find my briefs all twisted up frequently over numbers. I'm fresh out of panties. Here is just one example of how numbers can cause genital discomfort ( hey, you brought it up.)

EPA rates my Lexus CTh as 43 city, 41 highway. I average 52 highway, around 65 city. Does that mean EPA is wrong, internally inconsistent, biased towards EPA, or some other nonsensical statement ?
