Clean dashboard glass DIY

    I just cleaned the dashboard indicators glass
    It was foggy, or rather, as I red in another thread, there could be some fungus in there

    I found there is no seal on around the glass, so any air could enter (and does, as this is the way the pcb cooled)

    Here is how dashboard looked before:

    Pretty crazy, the amount of removal involved. Toyota should be ashamed.

    It's scary, but not that hard actually :)
    My wife thought I would not be able to put it back together

    I've done similar cleaning on two Gen 2s. It wasn't hard at all. Second time was easier, as you can imagine.

    While you've got it open, I wonder, would tucking a small pack of silica gel (moisture absorbent) in somewhere, be practical/possible/effective?
