Clear VSC and Maint Required on 2006 Toyota Prius?

    I just want to know how to clear my VSC message on my 2006 Toyota Prius.

    This came on after my mechanic did service. The battery died so it had to be charged. The light has been on ever since. It's been about 9 months now.

    I am also getting a solid Maint Reqd light now, but I tried to reset after having my tires rotated and oil change performed.

    My car runs fine and has no issues I can see.

    I tried several times holding the odo trip and tapping power 2x, but that did not work.

    I reset my maintenance light. I just need help with VSC light now.

    The usual way is to ask the brake system what code or codes it has set then you can fix the problem and reset the ECU.

    There is a review of several code reading systems you might purchase to do the code reading here in this thread.

    If you need further help, post the code (or codes) here and someone can chime in.
