I got hung up on all sorts of "green" plates, like NOSMOG, CLNAIR etc and then couldn't decide. Someone may have thought I was a greenie trying to make a statement which I am not.

When I told my son I was getting a Prius, he said "Woo-Hoo!" - hence my plate. It fits me perfectly because that is exactly how I feel about it.

I thought that was "Purse Envy" haha :)

I saw a license plate that said "TileIt" and right away one glanced at it and thought it was toilet.

    Hmmm. :)[/b][/quote]

:) yes it does, I ended up getting PRIUS NV

Just got VLTZWGN. Thanks everyone for the help! HOwever, no one but those who are part of the Prius community can figure out why I put a "Volkswagon" plate on a Toyota. Even after I explain it is a VOLTSWAGON, they don't get it. Amateurs!

    Help me decide!!!

Ok, I've read both threads on this board, one on priusonline, and the insight list, and I've narrowed my selection, but I can't decide!

In CT, we can only have six characters, and if you have letters and numbers they must be separated with a dot, so I couldn't lift (steal?) any of the TOGOB4 options (which is really my first choice).

    So here's what I have:
GOT-GAS (which I'm kinda concerned might give the impression I'm talking about something other than my car  )
    HI-MPG
    MAX-MPG
    MAD-MPG
    UNPLGD
    AMP-PWR
    SYNRGY

    Opinions? Help! Thanks!

SYNRGY was one of my initial choices. But I got so hung up on the "green" thing that I had narrowed the field to six. I pondered for several days, asking friends and neighbours - they thought I had finally cracked.

I think the plate has to have that X-factor and none of my choices was standing out and doing it for me, but...

I remembered the words my son said when I told him we were getting a new car - Woo Hoo!

Here I am with WUHU exactly as you see.

Well, I will go ahead and reveal the truth that I may be the only one in this Forum who took the "low road" when contemplating a personalized plate. To me the obvious choice for a Prius would be....(drum roll)...

    BEANO

There would be plenty of alternative spellings, i.e.

    BE NO
    B KNOW
    BEE NO

Well, you get the point. Hey, what can I say...you take the high road...:)

should have a Salsa red, pkg 6 in two weeks!!:)

My CA plate says, "BONTRRA." I couldn't fit "Bonterra" because we're only allowed seven digits.

Bonterra (and not named after the vineyard in California) means "Good Earth" in Catalan-Spanish. I think it means the same thing in Italian.

I have never had a vanity plate. I guess I just never saw or thought of one I wanted. I dont really have the imagination for cute plate names I guess. FL can take 7 letters or numbers but what to use?

clueless I am. I miss out sometimes!

Wife's Prii is "Sheepie" or "Sheepy" so that could fit.

Rachel would have to change her name to "Sheepdg" maybe.

    do not know....

i went to the california personalized plate website, and the license plate combinations
"MY PREUS" and "MY PRYUS" are unassigned, better grab them now

i got a san jose parking sticker, and i don't feel like getting a new plate today.

"I, HYBRID" and "I, PRIUS" were already assigned, sucks
