My newly acquired, minty fresh, low mileage 2018 Prius Prime Advanced has let me down with the hideous Entune being a worthless waste of 11 inches...and now...

When I plugged in my iPhone via USB cord, I get clicking and popping like I have an old turntable playing instead of digital mp3s. I’m using an Apple brand cord into the USB in the center console.

Anyone else experience this? Wth? I’m beyond flustered with this thing.

Apple brand cords go bad, too. Did you try a different cord to see if that's it? Also, I never plug my iPhone into the data port. I just use the charging port and connect via bluetooth. If you're using the data port and bluetooth, I've read of weird stuff happening.
