CNN and the G5 Prius......when half a loaf may be.....hotter?

Brother had a Renegade. The 500X is actually the only Fiat still available in the US, but it looks like the EV 500 is coming back.

 

I rented a 500 in Dallas 10 years ago and got a huge kick out of it. I'd love to see what an electric version of it would do.

I reall miata nx5 current gen had a sound tube, else select trim did to bring in the engine sound into the cabin. Thinking some reviewers of the gen5 were commenting on how they felt it was lounder then prior gen. Don't recall if their comments were about the engine sound level (ICE) or when just running on battery which would seem weird since on battery one would not think gen5 would be any lounder then ge4 except maybe due to running bigger tires.

 

When I test-drove an iX3, there was the BMW EV option of a Hans Zimmer "soundtrack". It was stupid. I had to go into the sub-menus to turn it off.

I agree with @bwilson4web . A quiet car is a good car.
