BreakingNews has updated their twitter feed (though no one has updated the stories yet): Ray LaHood backtracks on his earlier statement to stop driving recalled Toyota's. Now saying "If in doubt, take it to dealer." Ray LaHood says he misspoke when he said owners of recalled Toyota vehicles stop driving them.
Breaking news was once again updated with the following statement: "When in trouble or in doubt - run in circles, scream and shout!" I'm keeping my car in the garage for the next few weeks - Clearly the sky is falling.
SAN DIEGO -- A 40-year-old San Carlos woman is hospitalized Wednesday with a crushed pelvis after her car rolled over her in her driveway, police said. The woman had just pulled into her driveway near Golfcrest and Wandermere drives around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday when she got out and walked around to the rear of her 1990s Cadillac Deville, San Diego police Sgt. Ramona Hastings said. The vehicle rolled backward and struck the woman, crushing her pelvis, Hastings said. What caused the car to roll was not immediately clear. Amazingly they didn't blame it on a Toyota....
You're safe, don't worry. Both vehicles will do exactly what you expect them to do. Ignore the hysteria and you'll see that day-in and day-out you can count on them both taking care of you with minimal issues.
