California has a 15 year/150k miles emissions warranty for this failure p1121

You are checking the coolant level at the radiator right? Not the overflow tank

Do you have heat? Bleed the system of air?

I didn't know O'Reilly makes this part, most just use the OEM part from the dealer

Only advice left is to cycle the chrs pump but it seems there shouldn't be air in there. Maybe bad part.

Hoses are correct, not mixed up?

Hose connections good I marked them twice ,
What I also noticed is the check engine light comes back days or a week after I reset it ,
So I was wondering is there a specific fuse or relay related to this part ?

What are you reading the stored DTC(s) with?

Those tank outlet temperature sensors can go bad, try doing a search if needed.
