It has been sorta comical the lengths folks have gone to to try to uncover his body... but I read some years back that he was probably put through a rendering plant... mob stuffs...

 

The purported Hoffa grave was right around the block from my old house!! I used to live on Georgia street, one block over. The "grave" that recently made the news was on Florida street. (In my old neighborhood, there are a few streets named after states).

Kind of funny because I grew up in that neighborhood too and know of the house because I had 2 friends that lived on Florida. Nothing stood out as unusual even though it was supposed to be involved in a mafia gambling ring. Of course nothing was found in the core samples taken but still thought it was crazy.

 

I believe he is a cornerstone of the organization. Amateurs leave bodies. Pros leave bodies when a statement needs to be made. Whoever bankrolled the hit got their money's worth.
