No, as this grille is an overlay, it does not replace the factory bumper grille.

Completely unrelated....sorry!!Was looking for turn signal mirrors,EFUSCO kindly directed me to sigmaautomotive,my question is:has anyone done this mod and is it difficult? Given that the instructions are in Japanese, the guy at sigma said he has sold a few sets without complaint.

The mesh one does look a little weak, but I do like the second one.

Here is the link to a site I used. You will have to tell them the paint color code so they get the correct color for your car.

    KeyLight Technology Inc.

They send you the installation instructions also (English). But the wiring color codes are for a Lexus. You can can get the correct color wiring from one of the threads on this site. Just do a seach and you should be able to find it and print it out. It takes about 3-4 hours to install them. You will have to pull the wires from the mirror through the rubber part that goes into the car. I found that if you use a 8 " plastic tie it works real well and is fairly easy. The cost of the painted mirrors is about $160 I believe. You have a choice of 3 LED colors: Blue, White & Amber.

Too bad they couldn't come up with a screen type or mess that went behind the grille that's on the car.

they are completely bolt on with only basic hand tools required. If you do not feel up to installing it, you can go to any local custom shop or body shop and have them do it for you.
