    Yeah but that plus a fully blocked lower grille really works. I cold soaked it once this week but it was plugged in and the engine was warm enough in ECO mode (but no heater running) that it shut off after a 2km drive and a full wait at the traffic light (it stopped just as the light for the other directions were turning red). Our Gen 2 would take nearly 10km at 0°C without a plug and it needed you to come to a complete stop first so if I'm crawling, the engine won't shut off on the fly but it will on the Gen 3.


    Wow.. that's impressive. New or used? I love my Tech Pack :)

    I can see that.

    If you are on the fence about an EBH then you likely need one.

    Where I live, down South here, it simply is not needed. In this climate when it is only reaching -10F the Prius handles great and the cabin warms quickly.

    However for folks who live up North, were it does get cold. Their needs may be far different from mine.
