    Are your trips as short as mine? I recently tracked my trip lengths for a few weeks and posted them here: http://priuschat.com/forums/freds-house-pancakes/82844-trip-distance-log.html

    I was incorrect in that my average trip length is actually less than 3 miles.

    Update: I have now completed year 3 and have my mileage figures.

    Year 1: 41.2 mpg
    Year 2: 42.2 mpg
    Year 3: 48.3 mpg

    My worst tank of the year was (by far) my most recent, at 40.4 (according to the MFD)
