So I'm thinking about replace my front and back bumpers. They are abit damaged when I bought the car and since this is my first car I owned, I've made afew more damages.

I would like to know how much would it cost me to replace both bumpers and also get them painted as the color of my car?.

    Any input will be helpful,

Mmm. What do you mean by the covers?. I have a dent in the back on the left side where my headlight is. In the front in the middle I can see that if someone wants to park in front of me in a tight spot and they want to bump my car in the front I will the front bumper will split in half. It has a cut that I feel it was caused by other drivers bumping into the front of my car.

I would just show them to a body shop, see what they'd say. Unless they're seriously torn, missing pieces, I would just get it filled/sanded/painted. Keep in mind in 6 months you'll have fresh license plate bolt indents, especially on the rear. And maybe more corner scuffs. It's hopeless trying to keep them new.

How about the dent on the back. It was caused by me backing up and hitting a tree that was sticking out. It just caused it to dent my back bumper from the left corner. I know for the front debts you can pop them out by heating it and having something just push it out. Is it the same for the back bumper as well.

most front bumpers today have a Styrofoam bar behind the plastic cover, and then a metal bumper behind the foam. you probably only need to have the covers repainted, unless the crack in the front is really bad. then you just need to replace the cover. I'd guess less than $1000 for both.

After my wreck last week I ordered a new front bumper already painted and free shipping for around $200 off eBay. I've ordered painted parts from eBay before and they fit and matched perfectly.

Well the bumper I got this time off eBay took over 30 days to arrive from 3 states away and the color wasn't a match. For my 07 prius driftwood pearl.
