Ok, I got an email from Costco's auto program which had a link to an "article" at
    Welcome to Costco Auto Program
. (You may have to put in your zip code.)

Wasn't sure if I should post here or in the Gen 3 Prius area, for more visibility.

Gotta love there "cons" of hybrids:
 Uhh, for the latter, not necessarily. There are numerous hybrids where their acceleration is faster than non-hybrid counterparts.

The Fit EV later stands out as its availability is extremely limited (2013 Honda Fit EV - Leasing Information - Official Site) and is lease only. "Zero fuel costs" is bogus. Electricity isn't free.

Then under "Fuel-Efficient Gasoline- or Diesel-Engine Vehicle", they've got these gems for pros:
Uhh... unfortunately, fuel efficiency has little to do w/non-CO2 pollutants and "clean diesels" are rather dirty on the EPA pollution score. There are also plenty of hybrids w/more power than these so-called "Fuel-Efficient Gasoline- or Diesel-Engine Vehicles".
