I didn't expect it could happen so fast.... Only three months and I am already getting a cracked headlight.
I didn't even know how this happened.
New part will cost around $800 and I found a used one on eBay for over 300. Hope it's not too much a hassle to replace it.....

All I can think of when I see the picture is "glass jaw". Back 30~40 years there was legislation requiring cars to be able to sustain low speed contacts without damage. Bumpers were practical, hydraulically mounted, and headlights were set back, $20 glass sealed beams. Now we've got expensive plastic rolling sculptures.

Ouch that stinks. If it is a big pain to replace, you might want to try a local collision shop to pop the new one in for you. I broke my bottom rear tail and you had to take off the bumper and put it on and then reinstall the bumper. The collision shop charged me $42 to replace it

The new fancy plastic assemblies, containing a non-replaceable LED "bulbs" are expensive to replace. This is not only a Toyota issue. A friend of a friend also got the jolt of her life when the LED headlight assy of her GM built car had to be replaced for hundreds of dollars.

One must ask; is this progress?
