I actually agree with that. McCain and Obama are both tools of their corporate masters, as are all Republicans and almost all Democrats.

However, just because I don't want to drink Miller Lite or Bud Lite doesn't mean I have to drink cyanide.

We definitely need a strong third (and possibly fourth) party in the country. Unfortunately, even if they weren't a bad joke, the Libertarians (motto: "I got mine so screw you") don't fit the bill.

 

I like libertarians' stance on social matters but their economic and environmental policies would be an absolute disaster. I don't really want to relive the economic roller coaster of the 1800's over again.

I could not believe that some senators and house members have been for 30 years in Washington, their voting record stinks and nobody bothers to check their voting record.

Like Obama ( I prefer Mbamba for me he's like a clown) voted present for everything, but people felt of their chairs when he promised them " change you can believe in " and of course he just continues what the previous presidents started.

That's why I thing we need somebody like Ron Paul to brake this chain.

Libertarians want a free market for corporations.They want the freedom for corporations to screw the public without government restrictions .

You got to find balance. Some things should be run by government but not to many. In US already government does to much, and that translates in more taxes. Go to gassbuddy.com and look at the gas prices maps. In all democratic states the gas prices is higher with $50 cents than the rest because taxes for the social programs.

Everything that government does is done inefficiently and that translates in more taxes.

The only thing I would love to happen is health care for everybody, but I'm afraid to let government do it, because I saw that done in my country by the government and also in other European countries and the government does a very, very poor job.

 

Sorry, but we have the illusion of free markets, but indeed between subsidies, regulations (both good and "bad") monopoly or near monopoly capitalism, our markets are clearly not "free" .
