Has anybody replaced their OE front sway bar with the thicker one from cusco. I noticed some body roll on highway turn that made me feel uneasy. I can’t post links yet because my account is too new. Hybridpit has it for $330

It wouldn't really be too fair a comparison. Im doing the front and rear with some chassis bracing as well. And I'm also doing the Spoon Rigid Collars at the same time. So can't give feedback on the front sway bar alone

Got them installed today along with a few other stuff. Initial thoughts: turn-in feels so sharp. Like really responsive especially mid turn. I didn't push it hard as I has some cargo I didn't want moving around but the car feels more nimble if that makes sense. Could be placebo, but I think there was an improvement.

I've done a lot of suspension parts so not sure it was just one thing. But this install was with front and rear sway bars, a Cusco rear brace and a Hardrace rear brace. Plus the Spoon Rigid Collars

You're right: too many mods to evaluate the sway bars. Too bad!...for us...GOOD for you!

Awesome list of mods. Do you have two front strut tower bars installed? Both Cusco and Hardrace?

How is the ride just around town? Does it feel a little rougher?

Did the prius come with a front sway bar that needed to be removed, or was there nothing there at all?

Yes. The Cusco strut bar is weird. I don't know how they can claim to be a strut bar as it doesn't attach to the struts lol. Below is a pic (it's the middle bar. I put the Cusco sticker on the hard race bar lol)

It wasn't rough at all. Those were the very first two bars I installed. Didn't really feel much of a difference driving around town but I think maybe the nose would feel a little more solid going around a bend.

The gen4 comes with both a front a rear bar. The front bar required the front subframe to be removed. I figured since it was coming off, it would be a perfect opportunity to do the Spoon Rigid Collars 20200729_180235.jpeg
