The trip, battery display just went out. The rest of the dash works, MPH, Gas gauge, etc. The only part out is the display controlled from the steering wheel. Any ideas on repair? Or to the dealer I go?

Did you jump start your car before this happened by chance? I had to jump mine recently and noticed the same thing. I shut it off and reinspected and realized I hadn't pulled down the cover for the positive terminal that flips up. When I flipped that down and restarted it was fine.

No I wish it were that easy. They say the combo meter is bad. $1300 for the part alone and it is a remanufactured one. Is this one of the meters with a bad solder connection
