Dash lights flashing while car is off

    Just went to go check the brakes on my wife's 2008 Prius, turned the car back on and now all the dash lights are flashing. The gear indication lights and the fuel gauge lights are just flashing even though the car is off. But technically the car is still kind of on because you can move the windows up and down.

    What is going on with this car and how do I fix it?

    If the car does not turn off correctly, this is an indication that the combination meter is going bad. Take a look at this thread, https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/2293037

    Try holding the button for 5 second or more to see if the car will turn off correctly.
