Dash stuff 04 to 09

1 you cannot change early prius Dash with say 07 or such the white plugs that liven the whole dash are completely different pin outs I have detailed pictures .if you do you will have rt turn signal always on dash and wen you apply the signal a section of text on display flashes .. the trip and gas are on other side of display too. wont work out unless changing out the white plugs and adjusting pin outs beware.. ive lotsa pics . before you touch any wiring and displays and dash parts . they break if you look at them.. period.. before touching anything take 12 volt and have it tested a few places . this is why you have the other car.. more than likely you will find 12 volt is marginal at best. replace it with a very good AGM battery 46AH and watch all these issues go away.. almost IMED.. do not tear into anything until you have a clean bill of health to your 12 V system . the two electrical systems are very intertwined .. beware.. enjoyed reading the twelve years of these posts.. remember ive extensive pics and just sorted this on three cars at same time 05 06 and 09 all here no posting pics sux i can send to any e mail..enjoy your cars ..
