    I think most are hesitant over FCA's reliability reputation, which wasn't helped by the early recalls.
    Then their CEO hasn't been shy about his feelings on plug ins. It might be viewed as a compliance car with limited production instead of limited areas that the van is for sale in.

    too bad, but i can understand the rep, having owned 4 or 5 in my life.
    still they sell a lot of mini vans, so maybe people just don't care about mpg's, like the rest of the driving public.

    Amazing how those guys are trained to sell it. When I asked the sales critters, "do you have the plug-in hybrid mini van available?", they said, you mean the hybrid? Sheesh.

    agreed, but toyota dealers aren't any better, and look at the stable.

    interestingly, my local has two on the lot for $48,000., while the gassers are getting a $7,500. chrysler rebate. that may explain some of it.

    That could easily be, but those recalls delayed roll out. So maybe there is a supply issue at this time.:unsure:
