One thing that bothered me about my 2 gen and 3 gen is the total lack of information that the dashboard gives you. The other day the tire symbol lit. Don't know what tire is low, so have to check them all in a blizzard. I never know things like oil pressure temp voltage etc. Is there any aftermarket obd2 system that can tell you what is going on with your car?

"Hybrid Assistant" app for Android works great for the usual behind-the-scenes data. It has a companion app called "Tire Assistant", which does exactly what you want. You're catch is the ODB-II reader is $50.

As high tech as our Prius' are ...........they cant even tell us when the windshield wiper fluid is low !!!! Nope , lets it run right out before we have a clue there is NONE left !
That frustrates me to no end ! lol

It does tell you when the FOB battery is getting low.

The information is there, not sure why Toyota is reluctant to disclose it

I tried this Tire Assistant, but provided no data for my European Prius - and it has pressure sensors in the wheels.

App didn’t work for me either. But it wanted permission to access my photos, videos, location and etc. Good thing it was on a phone that used for app testing and experimentation only so I granted it access to a blank phone.

Thanks everyone. At least I'm not the only one bothered by how tight lipped the Prius can be.
