I have a 2012 base Prius Plug-in. The arrival time is off one hour in the navigation system. I've searched here, and I've searched the owners manual for guidance. Could someone please provide some clear step by step instructions on how to turn DST on/off?

SETUP --> GENERAL --> Scroll down and press "Daylight Savings Time Off".

Pg 197 in the PHV Navigation Owner's Manual.

:)Wouldn't "Daylight Savings tine On" be an automatic setting? For most electronics it is and will toggle between the two settings as the time changes.

I think "Daylight Savings Time On" means that the area you are in honors DST, so the display should switch in and out of DST at the appropriate time. For example, Arizona does not honor DST, except on the Navajo Reservation. The other interpretation is whether DST is in effect right now. But the label is ambiguous as to which interpretation is intended, and I could be mistaken.

    I didn't make the DA interface ;).

Frankly, a manual button is fine. Can you imagine if you had the car under the old DST settings and you had to wait til April before the car changed to DST?

Plus what about cars sold in areas that don't observe DST?

I have a PiPA and I'm also an hour off as of recent. The "Page 197" reference must be for the base model PiP, because Page 197 in the PiPA Navi manual is audio set up, with no information relating to the Navi clock or DST.

Can someone with a PiPA help out with setting the Navi clock and DST? Thanks!

In the Advanced model, it's in a difference place (because it's a Denso unit).

    There it's in

SETUP --> CLOCK --> Daylight Savings Time (on/off)

I still have the question: Does setting this ON mean that the system automatically applies DST based on the calendar and the current rules as to when DST is in effect, or does it mean to manually apply or not apply the DST offset without regard to the calendar?

Thanks, Tideland Prius. Your information helped me out.

To be more accurate, on my PiPA the buttons used to get to the settings are:

Setup (hard key to the right of the Navi display)
    General (soft key)
    System Time (soft key)
    Daylight Saving Time (soft key)
    (choice of on or off)

By the way, it should be "on" now, because daylight savings began on March 10th, 2013. I don't know if "on" means the car will automatically calculate when to add or subtract an hour. We'll find out later this year on November 3rd! Until then, happy PiP'ing!

Ohh, they reorganised the menus. Ok. In the Gen 6 system, CLOCK was its own menu, but I see it's now under GENERAL. Thanks!

Well it depends. It only affects it if you choose to display "Time of Arrival" as opposed to "Time To Arrival". If you choose the former, then it will display xDT or xST. If you choose the latter, it makes no difference. (and if your destination is in a different time zone, it won't account for that unless you change your Time Zone in the setting prior to setting the destination).
