DDM Tuning HID question

    Has anyone used the DDM H11 HID kit, if so do you have the ground shadow issue with them or do they sit correctly in the housing?
    I am thinking of geting them over the Morimoto HID kit to save some money.

    I have the DDM 35w HID's in all 3 of my lights (low, high, fog) Not sure what the ground shadow is but no issues what so ever that I notice. I like the clean cutoff with the projectors.

    this...Use this relay harness to connect HIDs to cars with very small gauge wiring that cannot supply the initial surge current required to light the bulbs reliably

    Its listed as "HID Harness"

    Precisely. I have the 55 watt kit and I've used it for around 5000 miles now around 75% night time and I have experienced no ground shadows or melting or disfigure I had some flickering and when I installed the relay harness It been awesome.

    If you get 35 watt it'll be 5000k and if 55watt 6000 k

    I would highly recommend store pick up if you're close by otherwise I takes about a month because they are usually back ordered and if keep bothering them maybe they will ship it from la otherwise it comes from china which takes for ever

    I have two sets in my camry and 2 sets in my prius 35w flavor, no harness. Sorry not sure about this shadow thing you're talking about. The HIDs have been in the prius over a year with no issues.

    Is the ground return wire on the same side of the bulb as the plug, or is the ground return wire on the opposite side of the plug? Or, when installed, the plug is at the bottom, or 6 o'clock position, is the ground return wire also in the 6 o'clock position (no ground shadow), or is it in the 12 o'clock position (potential ground shadows)?

    H11 as well, but please don't put HIDs in your non projector foglights. The reflector based foglights don't have the physical cutoff shield that is in projectors to prevent glare to oncoming drivers.
