Free if you have a smartphone and an OBD2 reader that can talk to that smartphone. A compatible reader isn't very expensive though, there is a list on the Dr. Prius web site.

    I don't have a Bluetooth or wifi-enabled OB2 scanner lol. Meaning it's not free...

Owning an OB2 dongle is a necessity of life if you own a Prius

Apparently MSRP just went down dealer-wide to $1,950 and most places have it on additional sales after that, my local dealer being the cheapest at $1625.:) For anyone looking to get one now is the time!

Not when compared to parting with 100+ at a dealer for a 'diagnostic'.
Please share a link with us. Could be for either / both offerings. Thank you!

that's a great price, and another thread claims these are discontinued.

Amazing, never heard of a dealer shipping before. Please let us know if you take delivery, and the total fees for shipping (y)
Not discontinued, just slower to deliver. My parts jockey has been selling a bunch for their dealer installs, and I could buy OTC as well.

I was able to order for pickup for free. Shipping starts at $350 to get it in a few weeks and goes up from there. I was told that they are currently back-ordered and I was number 12 of only 14 people that are getting them anytime soon. I was also told dealers will hoard them when the price drops just so they have them in stock (I'm assuming he meant dealerships other than Toyota).
