That brake fluid shade looks 1% lighter than mine.

You're welcome! Can you do your own work? Time for the EGR cleaning....

It looks overwhelming, but it you go slow, and take it one piece at a time, it's not so bad.
Watch the videos several times so it's in your mind. If you have a laptop, you can put it on your
passenger seat and then do 1 step at a time.
If you have a friend that has some experience, that would help. Or maybe someone else on here
that maybe close to you might be willing to help you...

This isn’t what you want to hear but how much do you think the dealer would quote me to clean it haha.

I’m definitely open to trying though. I think it will just take some time to build my confidence.

Dealerships don't clean stuff like that. They replace it. The cooler is $300 I think. You can get a used one
for about $100. Unless you search for different junk yards.
I think someone quoted a price over $1500 for everything.
You can buy a lot of tools for that money! :)

There are good video's here: YouTube

    Here is the cooler cleaning:

    This is the intake manifold:

Remember, it looks harder than it really is. :)

    OR.....if it ain't broke, don't "fix" it. :)

That is, if the car is running fine, don't go LOOKING for trouble.
You might end up worse off than you started.

What are you referring to, the EGR cleaning, brake fluid change, both?

    "Preventive" Maintenance...
Like change the oil BEFORE the bearings seize.
Like clean the egr system w/intake manifold BEFORE the head gasket blows..
