Spellcheck seems to balk at "transaxle", whenever I type it:

You can right-click it (in Windows), and say add to dictionary though, then "transaxle" is added. Not sure but maybe you can do this on a phone?

    OP is gone?

I am struggling with an unruly tablet because PriusChat is no longer accessible via my Windows PC.

If it's an iPad, this might help:

iOS: Add Words to Autocorrect Dictionary

Meh, didn't work on my (ancient) iPhone 5.

Strange too that Priuschat isn't working in Windows. I'm using FireFox with Win10, no issues.

I’m rollin with the free iPhone 5s I have:).

    Hard to argue with free;).

But when it autocorrects “the” with “te”, it’s frustrating .

With OP gone, now is anything goes right?:ROFLMAO:

I am still on my iPhone 6 plus bought with carrier subsidies four and a half years ago (Nov 2014). iPhone can last 5 years where as Toyota's can last more than 10, no reason to pickup more phone installments every 2 years as with new car payments every 5 years.

But with any machines (cars, bulldozers, even cellphones) there are maintenance involve. The only thing needed on my iPhone 6+ was a new battery for $29.99 under the battery gate discount and occasional restore/reset to keep it running fresh. My Prius needs more love than that, but still way cheaper to maintain than most cars running on the road.:love::love:

If OP can DIY those mentioned maintenance items, he/she can save enough for new iPhone every 2 years. :ROFLMAO:;)
