    Think "subcutaneous mammary adipose tissue".

And remember: those who live by "size does matter" may die by it, too. :(

A very creative group here. The youngins I met as a department store Santa Claus were all very tightly programmed to want what was in the TV commercials. Of course, this makes it easier for Santa-fakirs to seem to be peering into their very souls.

Quick PC poll: Who has played Santa Claus?

Nix on Nikon for Nixa! Dr. Fusco, you want the LEICA DIGITAL-MODUL-R body. Can't cost more than a car (can it???)

I might settle for a Xantrex pure sine wave inverter.

For all PCers, I wish tire pressure gauges, and the will to use them!

Considering the substantial investment I already have in Nikon glass and gear it wouldn't make much sense to change brands at this point. And if I did I think I'd go with Canon. Also, is the Digital-Modul-R anything more than vaporware at this point?

    I want a girlfriend.

Universal justice and world peace and an end to poverty and hunger worldwide and clean drinking water for everyone would be nice. But I'd rather have a girlfriend. I already have a house and a Prius and a computer and a treadmill, so I don't need more stuff. I need someone to buy stuff for.

Are you getting a solar array for x-mas? The Xantrex gear seems really nice. I wish I could afford one.

<ahem> well, I don't know about the headlight thing. I just see a nice, attractive young woman wearing a nice, pure white T-shirt, fashionably torn jeans and nothing else except what she was born with. She looks very wholesome and worthy of taking home to meet my mother. I'm sure that she and I could become good friends.

My tongue is getting tired from being planted so firmly to the inside of my cheek. B)

If you were trying to make it somehow less appealing, it's not working.

Six inches of snow in Southern California, and a crisp enough windchill to cause Mystery Squid avatar's headlight to transform into HID's.

    MEN!!

Okay, here's my wish: I want another long dive weekend in Key Largo.

The Hubby and I got back on Monday and did we have a great time. Spent two days on a dive boat with six friends, helpful and knowledgeable skipper and dive master, LOTS of fish. Saw my first shark (~5 foot nurse) while snorkling! It was carrying what looked like a remora. It didn't arch its back or seem too interested in approaching so I hovered above and dove down to its level a couple of times. It lazed away after a few minutes. Didn't pursue as I was alone and a bit nervous.

Also humongous eels, a cleaning station, large schools of yellowfin and big angelfish, triggerfish, parrotfish, stickfish. Many barracuda, one about 4 1/2 feet long with big 'ole buck teeth and a wicked glean in its eye. Someone else in the group saw a very large grouper. Molasses Reef was the best, wreck of the Benwood was fun. Good Cuban food, seafood, ribs and pulled pork, great mojitos, warm and calm waters, bright sun.

No stress, mon. Only a 2.5 hour plane hop and ~$2,000 - plane tickets, rental car, room, dive boat, tips, food for the both of us - I don't believe in buying trinkets, I think that's why Dan married me. We own our own kits so no rental of dive gear involved.

Dan's talking about doing another dive weekend in the Keys early next year so looks like I'm going to get my wish.

    ***

Bet SHE can't dive. Or hold her breath for very long. It's all in the training. ;)
