Just for the record,Saddam "gassed his own people" ,is another Bush lie created as justification for the preemption.
That Saddam was never charged for the gassing should give you a pretty good indication that there is no clear evidence. The facts are from the "Central Intelligence Agency's senior political analyst on Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war"
    Heres a link. http://www.sovereignty.org.uk/siteinfo/newsround/iraq2.html
BTW ,Im not pro Saddam .But I think the region and the Iraqi people ,and the USA would be much better off today if we had never invaded.
Things could become a lot worse in the future, whether we stay the course or not.The future could be disastrous if Iran and Saudi Arabia become involved in a Sunni/ Shiite conflict.
What if we had put the trillion dollars we wasted on Iraq into the development of alternative energies?

Four bodies were dumped in Egg Harbor NJ (just outside Atlantic City) and I haven't noticed any outrage. Besides, isn't the death rate 100%?

Yes, I admit the 4 bodies dumped must seem a quaint little bit of mafia or gangster business. But I don't suppose it's 4 every day. Still a bit minor, compared to the 50-100 being dumped around Baghdad every other day. Oh, and they also have delightful happenings like this:

    >>"AP journalists have repeatedly been to the Hurriyah neighborhood, a small Sunni enclave within a larger Shiia area of Baghdad. Residents there have told us in detail about the attack on the mosque and that six people were burned alive during it. Images taken later that day and again this week show a burned mosque and graffiti that says 'blood wanted.'<<AP, Nov 30, 2006

Lets see if we can get the facts straight...

So they're prostitutes, dumped there at different times by supposedly one serial killer. Also, note that the first article talks about the fear in the streets. This is a completely different issue than seen in iraq. go find an article that applies, like say where a family of four was brutally murdered in their home, and see if that doesn't set of some issues in the community.

Also, we aren't talking about death rate - which is 100%, no mater how you look at it. we're talking about murder rate, which is definitely not 100%.

Precisely. The analogy that Iraq is no more dangerous than US cities is, frankly, offensive. It glosses over the loss of human life that is occuring there. Take for example some of yesterday's events in Iraq as reported by Reuters and the San Jose Mercury News. Again, these are the sorts of thing occuring regularly, like daily weather.
And to add a little more perspective, it's all happening in a country about the size of Texas.
Texas 268,000 square miles, Population: 22,859,968 Iraq 227,000 square miles, Population 26,074,906

    The latest news:
    From Reuters
BAGHDAD - A total of 52 bodies, with gunshot wounds and bearing signs of torture, were found in different districts of Baghdad on Wednesday, an Interior Ministry source said.

BAQUBA - Iraqi soldiers found 28 bodies in a mass grave on south of Baquba 60 km (45 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement on Thursday.

BASRA - Police found the bodies of Nasser al-Qatrani, the deputy manager of Sunni Endowment in Basra, along with three guards and four members of the Facility Protection Services who were ambushed on the northern outskirts of the city on Wednesday.

SAMAWA - Four civilians were wounded when clashes erupted between Mehdi Army militia and Iraqi security forces in the southern city of Samawa, 270 km (168 miles) south of Baghdad, a hospital source said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed a police colonel on Wednesday near the national stadium in east-central Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Six bodies were found with gunshot wounds on Wednesday in the northern city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, a hospital source said.

JURF AL-SAKHAR - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed three policemen and wounded three others on Wednesday in the town of Jurf al-Sakhar, about 85 km (53 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

From the San Jose Mercury News:

5 bodies were found near SHEKH MAAROF area, they were tortured.
