Detailing tip - white vinegar

Everything is what I did especially the sun roof.

 

Probably because rainwater is ever so slightly acidic, just like using vinegar!

 

Unless you're investing in an in-line filter, the way to eliminate "water spots" or salt precipitates from water disinfectants is removing the water before it dries off. Wash off loose dirt with a jet spray, wash the car section-by-section with a lambskin mitt and auto wash solution in warm water, rinse thoroughly with a jet spray, and if you have one, a leaf blower to run off the heavy puddles. Then use your big microfiber (towel sized and thick) towel to remove the remaining water. Viola - no water spots! Don't sweat the vinegar wash too much, remember that if you pay for a "Teflon coating" at the dealer, they wash the car with an acid detergent solution in the shade and let it sit for around 15 minutes before washing off and repeating without the acid wash before wax application. This strips off any old wax, sap or stains for a clean application.
