    I have a bit of an issue my Prius. Below I've listed everything I could find. I can't take it to a mechanic, but I'm confident that I can replace parts if they are available.

    - Battery is at 12.19 volts @ 446 CCA

    - when key is in ignition the parking break light doesn't disappear when its disengaged.

    - Car might start when jumped at that point the speedometer comes back on and the parking brake light disappears.

    After the catalytic converter was stolen the following codes are present: P0136, P0141, P1437, P3190, P0171. I did have the catalytic converter replaced with an aftermarket one. Although the O2 Sensor doesn't fit, which explains some of the errors.

    - The car drove fine for the past 2 weeks after the catalytic converter was stolen and replaced.

    - The battery is brand new.

    - Hybrid battery is fine and doesn't discharge (had this verified by a mechanic)

    - Nothing happens when trying to start engine.

    Engine codes (not symtoms, just did a little research):

    P0136 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

    * Faulty oxygen sensor
    * Wiring issues or loose connections
    * Failed catalytic converter
    * Exhaust leak

    P0141 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

    * Faulty oxygen sensor
    * Wiring issues or loose connections
    * Failed catalytic converter
    * Exhaust leak

    P1437 - EVAP Control System Purge Flow Malfunction

    * Faulty EVAP canister purge valve
    * Wiring issues or loose connections
    * Failed EVAP canister
    * Failed fuel tank pressure sensor
    * Failed EVAP pressure sensor

    P3190 - Hybrid System Inverter/Converter Malfunction

    * Failed inverter or converter
    * Wiring issues or loose connections
    * Failed DC-DC converter
    * Failed hybrid battery

    P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)

    * Failed mass air flow sensor
    * Failed oxygen sensor
    * Clogged fuel filter
    * Vacuum leaks
    * Faulty fuel injectors

    Start by installing the O2 sensor and use a spacer.
    Then get a cheap Honda Goldwing ('88 - '95)
    Start off but installing the O2 sensor and use a spacer.
    Get a cheap '88 - '95 Honda Goldwing cruise control vacuum actuator and install it in the vacuum line that went to the HCAC unit that was on the OEM cat converter. That will possibly solve you 1437 trouble, believe it or not.

    Get your 12v battery load tested, Really. Just because itvreads over 12v does not mean that it doesn't take a huge voltage drop when the car is turned on, which will cuase all of your ECUs in the system to go on the fritz, sensing all kinds of codes, because they aren't getting proper voltage to boot up.

    I also have a Gen 1 that had its catscstolen and put in a aftermarket cat. And had a good voltage battery that failed load testing. And had much of the trouble you are having.

    All the hybrid system and battery codes, evap system codes, O2 and temperature codes,, etc, all went away with just replacing and spacing the O2 sensor, installing the vacuum pot/accuator, and replacing the 12v battery. Also make certain that the Orange Safety Plug on the HV battery is actually installed correctly.
